Five-piece whose debut single, "Like. Gentle. Men." (Try Harder) is a mini-swirling epic stuck around the moody and paranoid chorus pitting singers and guitar lines against each other. Of course the production is smaller than the wall of whirling that caught the moody massive in its net. Tired Irie are only at the beginning, and if they can manage to push their songs forward ("Like. Gentle. Men." is hardly original, no matter how foot-tappingly catchy), they could walk to the front of the class. Maybe.
