ELECTRO HIP-HOPPERS, Playdoe, fill in the gaps that The Cool Kids
forgot. This South African two-piece, comprising of Sibot, aka
DJ Shit, and Spoek Mathambo, deliver chunky beats and kick-ass
rhymes in a style that recalls the likes of Spank Rock and M.I.A.
This outspoken, self-proclaimed 'Afrobotic' pair claim to be influenced
by the likes of Grandmaster Flash and Young MC and have been used
by Toxic Avenger and Dan Le Sac on the remix tip. Cop a hold of
their new EP 'It's That Beat' and you'll be rockin' out of your
high-tops before you know it.
